Caramel

Recessive mutation resulting in the removal or alteration of erythrin (red) pigment. Caramel cornsnakes are varying shades of grey, black, brown and yellow. The eyes of a Caramel are normal. Heterozygous Caramel Cornsnakes can sometimes display increased yellow pigment, however this is not a 100% accurate method to identify hets.
